"I'm interested in a custom order. How do I begin?"
We would be happy to discuss the creation of a new product if you have a particular 'something' in mind - Please send us a message via our Contact Us page to get the ball rolling on your one of a kind item.
"Why does the product I received look different than the one showing in the online store photos?"
While we do our best to ensure you receive exactly what's been ordered, differences may be influenced by 3 possibilities:
- Differences in screen technology and resolution may incite product images to appear less vibrant than their real-life counterparts
- To efficiently make use of materials and supplies, pattern and print placement will not always be identical to that in product photos. The fabric itself however, will always be the same
- All of our products are handmade, and with that comes the expectation that slight variations in same products may occur. It's what makes your order truly unique!

"Are the fabrics you use treated with any chemical products?"
Nothing aside from a drop or two of gentle laundry soap to lessen the possibility of shrinkage & colour bleeds. All fabric has been pre washed prior to cutting (and sewing) with hypoallergenic & scent-free detergent.
"How much is shipping?"
$12 within Canada, via Canada Post. Please allow up to 5 business days to receive your package.
"I am local to your studio - Can I pick up my order?"
Most definitely! Simply choose Local Pickup on the shipping page. Once you receive a Shipping Confirmation email, your order can be found in the convenient pickup bin by the main door.
"I live in the United States. Do you ship here?"
Of course! $18 flat rate, tracked via USPS. Please allow 5-10 business days to receive your package.
"Do you ship internationally?"
We sure do! $26 flat rate, tracked parcel. Please allow 1-3 weeks for delivery of your package.
"Do you ever offer free shipping?"
Orders of $150 or more always qualify for free shipping, no matter the destination.
"An item in my order isn't as I expected it to be. What is your return policy?"
If, for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, please notify us within 5 days of receiving your package. Exchanges are gladly accepted.
Gift Cards and custom, personalized or clearance items are final sale, and ineligible for exchange.
"Will I receive a refund?"
Although we do not issue refunds, exchanges within 14 days of receipt may be arranged via email. Items returned for exchange must be shipped with tracking and received by Adorable October in the same condition they were received, including original packaging.
